Slade felt Acca's fur against his. He also heard the howl and made a deep growl, but stopped not bothering since they couldn't hear him. He lightly licked her ear to try and comfort her. If he was going to be a leader of a pack he would do anything in his power to make sure they felt safe. "Don't worry if they come into the territory we will drive them out," he said softly.

Acca let her head hang a bit while she stood against him and then nodded. " I just wants some rest and to be able to just go out hunting without needing to look back" she said. she liked slade his mouth then lay down beside him. She could now. He would watch over them. She hoped that the other female would be with them soon as well and that she and the female would become friends. " what are we going to do now?" she asked.

Slade smiled. "Well what do you want to do?" he asked, looking at her. His dark fur ruffled in the wind and he heard another howl. His ears lied back. "Geez they really want you to go to them," he said, smiling.

Acca looked at Slade , her ears lay back. "Yes they want me to lead them and the guys want me to have their pups but neither is going to happen. I don't want to be with them"she said. She came back to her feet and walked out of the den. Sitting down she looked in the direction where the howl had came from. "How long will it be before they go away"she asked Slade. Acca felt safe in and around this den as she knew they would not dare to come closer. The males were younger then she was and the females as well. They never had a proper fight so they knew they would never win a fight. "can we go run or hunt, somewhere away from them?"she asked

"I don't know how long it will take. It's up to them," Slade replied, getting up to his paws. He shook his pelt. "Sure, which one would you rather do?" he asked, padding over to Acca. He didn't want her to worry.

Acca simple rose and smiled. "lets go for a run, maybe we meet up with the other female"she said as she nuzzled against Slade before taking of for a run. She wanted somehow to feel like she was not alone and she needed to feel him net to her from time to time. As she stated to run the howling stated gain and instandly she froze.

Slade ran after Acca, smiling when she had nuzzled him. He loved the wind in his fur. His mouth was open as he slowed to a stop when she froze. He had heared the howl and it sounded oddly close. The fur on his neck began to rise. "Acca, are you okay?" he asked, looking back at her. He may have looked fierce, but his voice was calm and caring as he looked towards his packmate.
