The first was born. This one was large, slightly reddish and carried markings much like his father. By this time Aryan was exhausted, she was thirsty and she was hungry. When the contractions began for a second time she sighed. It was minutes later when a wolf, marked like herself but lighter was born. Female.
She panted, tired, done.
Looking up to Night she smiled "Names?"

Night lightly nudged the pups to their mother's belly. He licked each of the pups and then Aryan. "You did great," he said, laying down behind her. He began to think of names. "How about Alue, for the girl?" he asked, looking at her. She was just as beautiful as her mother. She looked so small and fragile, though. His son looked a bit stronger, but that was probably because he was first born. He nuzzled Aryan. "You name out son," he said.

Aryan smiled, but quickly rested her head exhaustedly when he nuzzled the pups. "They're so beautiful my love" She licked them both as they suckled. She nodded at his words, such a gorgeous name for her daughter. "Her name is beautiful as well"
Finally it was her turn to think of a name and she thought hard. Finally she came to her final decision and parted her lips. "Cade?"

"I love it," Night said, looking at the pups. His eyes shone with pride as he gazed at them. "It fits for a nice strong pup," he added, watching Cade suckle. He would teach him everything he would need to know to survive in this world. Well, everything he knew at least.
"Two new additions to the pack. They'll be strong fit wolves when they grow up," he said. He looked at her. "Would you like something to eat? I'll go hunt something down," he offered, standing up.

"Food would be nice love. I need everything I can get until the pups are weaned." She smiled nuzzling them, her head resting beside then as they grunted and whimpered. She was a mother now, and things would be different, but change in her eyes was a good thing, especially when its new life.

Night quickly walked off, but didn't stray too far incase something happened. He wanted her in sight and deffinantly the puppies. He perked up, looking for a rabbit of something small enough for a lone wolf to catch. He heard a scamper and looked around, noticing and rabbit. He snuck up on it and ran after it, easily catching up with it, with his long strides. He grabbed it by it's back and bit down hard, killing it instantly. He padded back to Aryan and placed it infront of her.
"If you want more don't bother to ask," he said, sitting down.

She nuzzled him, then slid her tongue across his maw lovingly. He was so good to her, and the pups would grow up with a good father, one who cared for them. She nodded, quickly ripping into the flesh. Once she had eaten her fill there was still some left that she nosed it towards him so he could have his share as well.

Night looked at her. "Are you sure you don't want anymore? I can always catch another," he replied, now looking at the rabbit. His stomach tightened in hunger, but he didn't say anything about it or even show he was hungery.

She was full yes, but she knew it would not be long before another meal was needed. She was content and warm within the birthing den, new life scented the air. Her blue eyes began to droop with need of sleep and she nodded. "Indeed I have had my fill love"

Night looked at her and nodded lightly. He began eating the rest of the rabbit. He smiled and yawned. "If you're tired, you can go to sleep. I'll keep an eye on the pups, love," he replied, laying down next to her again.
