Cade began to think furiously, pacing back in forth before his parents and Romeo. He neither looked upon them nor spoke a word, not even a hint of a whisper. His orange hide rippled like the ocean as muscles repeatedly tensed then relaxed. Finally he lifted his cranium, auburn hues looking directly at Night. "Well, as we all know it will be under the cover of the night, but we will not know if someone is awake at the time of our arrival, so we will have to roll in some kind of substance to try to mask our scent." Cade was silent for a moment. "We will roll in something of their territory's scent so it is not something new to them. I will near the den in search of Alue, but you must trust me to be smart enough to do it without detection. Alright?"
Aryan thought for a moment. "Your plan sounds good, but it needs some revising." She walked up to him. One of us will have to be daring to wear a scent she knows, so she will know what's going on am I right?" She asked looking towards her mate.
Romeo stood then spoke for the first time. "I will do it."

Night nodded. "There's probabaly someone with her, so we'll all have to be very careful. It'll either be a female or Genba. Don't attack anyone. If the scent you than run, just run. Alue will be smart enough to wait until they're gone until she follows, okay?" he said. He looked at Romeo. "That's a good idea. They don't know your scent, so they might think it's a wolf wanting to join their pack, while on the other hand Alue knows you and she'll instantly recognize you," he said.

Cade sat alone upon the high ridge watching the time go by. Night would be falling soon, but today had been such a long day. He sighed, watching the sun slowly set, as tears fell once again. "I'm so sorry Alue...I'm so sorry" He dropped his auburn hues to the ground beneath him and sat in silence.
Aryan peered through the bushes at her son and sighed, slipping through them. She sat beside him without a word spoken and curled her tail around her paws. Finally she opened her maw, crystal blue hues watching over sadly. "She's going to be ok...She has a strong brother that she has looked up to and learned from, she'll be ok" She nuzzled her son then sat quietly, watching the sun sink, but no reply came. "Cade, we should probably go back to the den to get ready"
Cade nodded and padded off with his mother at his side.
Back at the dens Romeo paced worriedly. Finally he approached Night. "You may not like the fact that your daughter and I are together...but I want you to know I love her, SO much...I want her to be happy."

Night nodded. "I know, Romeo. I'm sorry for not actually giving you a chance before. I just want to protect her and I guess that she really doesn't need it all that much. She has both you and her brother for that job now," he said, bowing his head as an apology. He looked at the sky. "It's almost time. Cade, let's start heading towards the border! By the time we're there it'll be night," he called over to his son.

Cade heard his father just as he was arriving and he nodded, but first he wanted a moment with his dad. He padded ahead towards him and motioned him in a direction. Once they were alone he turned to his father. "Tonight I don't want you worrying too much about where I am..I won't be far from you guys, but I want you to make sure that nothing happens to mom..." Before he turned to fetch his mother and Romeo he spoke once more. "I want you to be proud of me" and then he was off, howling for his mother and Romeo to follow, knowing that his father wouldn't be far behind him.
Aryan heard the howl and bolted off towards Night, nudging him on as she passed, not far behind her was Romeo.

Night looked around the dens. He sighed and the bounded after them. He slowed next to Romeo, deciding to make conversation on their way there. "So, how did you meet Alue?" he asked, glancing at Romeo before, ducking to dodge a low branch. I'm not cut out for this much exercise in one day. He thought, his pelt brushing the trees.

Romeo looked to Night as he came beside him, he listened to the simple question and thought for a minute, finally replying. "Well, it was about six months ago, while you had your son in training. I happened to barely cross the border and she about ripped my head off." Romeo chuckled at the thought of the memory. "She takes after you" He smiled. "We chatted and well, I was hooked from that day on. She was so scared to tell you." He ran on in silence for a bit, breathing heavily. "I just wish I could protect her as much as her own brother...You did good raising them both, you should be proud." Romeo nudged him.
