Finally Cade decided he had enough with his father. He was shocked of the words that began to escape from his mouth. "I don't want to be alpha of this pack someday!" Silence followed. "She wants it, I can't believe you can just over look her daughter, well now you have no one else to look at but her, I don't want any part of it! Every day after MY training I reviewed it with her because I knew someday I would be telling you the same thing I'm telling you now" Cade was angry about how Night was so blinded of his daughter. "You have a daughter that looks up to you and mom with the world and you never even cared!" Cade remained silent now, knowing that he would probably definitely be punished and he felt bad also because he knew he had probably just stabbed his father in the heart, and so the tears fell fiercely
†Just then Aryan walked through the bushes with mouth ajar in a gasp. She stood still, unmoving and looked to her children then to her mate. Stuck.

Night stood there, looking at them. He looked at Aryan, wondering what she was thinking. He then looked back to his pups.
Alue nuzzled her brother to try and comfort him. She looked at Night. "See! Look what you've done! I don't even know why you're alpha! Even if we are pups, we're still part of this pack you have to take care of. You shouldn't over look anyone. You such a horrible alpha," she growled. She pressed her pelt against Cade's.
Night listened and then closed his eyes. "Maybe I just wanted my son to follow in my paw prints. I was making the wrong choice this whole time," he muttered under his breath.

Cade tried to force back his tears as he looked his father in the eyes. "I love you, I always will. But we all have our own paths to choose and follow. My heart leads me elsewhere, but Alue, Alue is different dad, she wants this more than anything. I do not like hurting you like this, I honestly don't, I just wanted you too see what you couldn't see." He sighed, feeling like he was hurting his father even more. "It not like im going to be a thousand miles away, and yes I will makie you proud by being an alpha and raising my own pups, but its your choice to be proud of me for standing up and telling you how I want my life to be, and be proud of who I am and who Alue is. You have taught me well, but from no won I want you teaching both of us."
Aryan listened respectively to every word her son and everyone else had to say. then she padded over to Night's side and nuzzled him. "We have created two beautiful and strong pups love, but there will always be a time where we must let go." She turned to Cade. "Not that I agreed in the way you spilled it as you could've made it less disrespectful, but I am proud of my family."

Night opened his eyes and looked at Cade. His eyes were soft. "I am proud of you, Cade. I have always been proud of you and always will be. I just wished you would've told me earlier," he said, nuzzling Cade's side. "You've always been the one to stand up for others. It's about time you've stood up for yourself," he said giving a light smile.
Alue looked at Aryan. She wondered what will change now that Cade has told Night, but she didn't bother asking. Her fur rustled in the breeze. She liked it. It made her feel free.

Through his eyes Cade had watched the bond of their family almost fade but now was watching it as it grew stronger than ever. He smiled at his father and nodded. "I held back for I did not want to hurt you as I'm sure I already have, but Alue, she has so much potential and passion for this pack and I did not want to see that go to waste as she stood in the shadows. He looked to Alue and nuzzled her. He would defend his sister with his life if he had to, and for some reason he felt that soon chaos would erupt and it would change the bond between him and his sister forever.
Aryan smiled and closed her eyes as the light breeze swept into her face. She felt one with the spirits that surrounded them. She nuzzled Night then looked to her family. "Well I am starving, family hunting practice sound good tonight?" She looked to Night with a smile on her face then to her young.
Cade chuckled. "I'm in" then playfully shoved his sister.

"Sound good to me," Night said, looking at Aryan. He then looked at Alue.
Alue smiled at Cade. She got up and shook her pelt. She pushed him with both of her front paws. "What are we going to hunt for?" she asked while looking around the forest. "Deer? Rabbits? Can we go fishing? Slade taught me how to fish. You know it comes in handy when there's nothing else to hunt," she said, already excited about the hunt.
"Slade's territory has mostly bears in it, so his pack needs to fish unless the want to try and take down a grizzly," Night commented.

Aryan chuckled at her daughter, she held such a beauty of her own, but when she looked into those eyes she saw herself staring right back at her. She turned to Night. "So fishing it is?" She looked back to Alue. "Why don't you teach us Alue?"
"Yea, teach us Alue" Cade cut in. He now stood at his fathers side.
Aryan looked out how strong and similar Cade and Night looked. Cade was so strong, so much like his father, he would make a great mate someday just like Night. She smiled and then began to head off towards the river, looking back to see if her family was following.

Right when Aryan had looked back, Alue shot right past her, too excited to walk. This time she was careful to keep herself from looking back. Her paws barely touched the ground before they left it again as she skidded to a stop next to the river. She looked for a small slope and went down it.
Night walked next to Aryan. "She's so hyper. She'll need a mate that can calm her down," he commented, watching as his daughter disappeared into the forest. He smiled lightly. "I wonder if that's possible," he added under his breath.

Aryan chuckled with Night's response to Alue's large personality and high energy level. "She still young dear" She nuzzled him then bolted off herself.
Cade stood in one spot as the rest of his family moved off. Something wasn't right. He tested the air then looked around. There was someone else present somewhere, the air had shifted and he could smell a slight difference in the soft breeze. Cade growled then ran off towards the river.
In the shadows another form stood. Golden optix stood out upon the ebony background.

Night took off after his mate. His dark fur skimmed a few trees as he barely dodged them. His muzzle was turning a bit gray, but his strength hasn't changed from his younger years. He slowwed to a stop right next to the river and looked around. He spotted Alue and walked over.
"You need more exercise. You're out of breath already," Alue commented, looking at her father. She had a smile pasted to her face and her eyes shone brightly in the afternoon sun. Her tail was lightly thudding the ground as she turned back to look at the river.

Aryan chuckled at Alue's coment after they arrived on the river bank. She then paced back and forth watching the swift current. "Is it safe here or should we move to the pooled area down river?" She asked Alue, giving her the chance to make her own decisions.
Cade arrived, still sensing the feeling that someone or something, was watching them. But just so he could enjoy this time with his family he pushed it aside and waited for Alue's reply. He still had the feeling that everything was going to change very soon, btu he just couldn't pin point what or why.

Alue looked at the swift river. She looked down it and smiled a bit. "We're fine. Just down the river is a pool, so if one of us gets swept in, we'll end up there," she said, looking at Aryan. She then looked back at the water. "Okay, the first thing is, you shouldn't let your shadow hit the water. It'll scare off the fish," she said, moving her father so his shadow wasn't hitting the water. "After that, you have to be very still and keep your eyes open. She stay like that and suddenly she dove her paw into the water quickly and swiped a fish out. She quickly caught it in her jaws and set it down. "See?" she asked.
Night looked at the water a bit unsure. "It looks hard, but I'll give it a try," he said, doing exactly what she told them. When he spotted a pretty good sized fish, he used one of his paws to get it out. He bit at it, but it went right back into the water before he could catch it.

Aryan tried as well. She didn't make out any better and she sat upon her haunches as well. She couldn't help but sense some tenseness radiating off Cade and she nuzzled him reassuringly. Then she returned to watching her mate make a fool of himself and she chuckled. Her keen, predatory hues lusted to find the perfect meal at the moment. Aryan then tested the air and her auds shot forward. She could've sworn she had smelt in an intruder, but she was quick to push it behind her as she couldn't catch another whiff.
Cade sighed as his mother nuzzled him and he nodded, understanding. This was a moment for his sister so hi went on as of her were enjoying it. Just as he had managed to grasp a fish within his jaws, being the only one besides his sister to be successful, he sensed his mother's alarm and gave a look, telling her that he had been weirded out by a presence as well.
Aryan nodded then whispered. "I'm sure its nothing, with this breeze it could be bringing scents from many miles away."

Night snorted, annoyed. He shook his head. "I think I'm in the mood for deer," he muttered.
Alue looked at her father. "Well you can go ahead with mom. It's getting late. I'll teach you another time," she said. She had gotten a whiff of the scent and she wanted to check it out, although she couldn't do that with her parents here.
Night looked at her daughter and then looked at the sky. He nodded, agreeing. It was getting close to sunset and he they had to feed the pack as well as themselves. Looking at Aryan, he got up and moved back up the bank and waited for his mate there.

Aryan tipped her diadem to her daughter then looked to the sky as well. Her gaze finally settled on both Cade and Alue. "I want you back by moonrise." She knew the moon would rise with an hour and a half. To make sure he got the point, Aryan sternly looked upon Cade as if telling him to protect Alue.
Cade nodded, understanding then watched as his parents left. He turned to Alue. "Did you smell it too?" He asked wagging his tail. "If its an unwanted guest I could do something for dad by ripping him to shreds." He announced chuckling to himself. sometimes Cade did get ahead of himself, but he had the will which was good.Cade began to prance off, slightly full of himself at the moment. He then turned to look at Alue. "Well are you coming or what" he asked slightly tauntingly, but playfully.
