Cade sighed and nodded. "Sure dad, whatever you say" He looked to Alue, knowing that she wanted that position so badly. His auburn pools looked on with respect but much annoyance, someday he would gather enough courage to tell his dad how he felt.
Aryan nodded and sighed "I suppose." She had the most horrible feeling about this though. She then growled and walked out of the cave and bolted off, she would need some time to think.
Cade watched his mother leave with an inquisitive look. He knew how rough being an alpha was on her. He then looked to Night and sighed, he just didn't seem to understand Aryan's point. He too left the den to find something else to do before his father took over the rest of the day with 'training'

Night sighed, he followed the two wolves, watching Aryan. "Did I say the right thing?" he asked himself. He then noticed Cade walking off. He quickly caught up. "So, let's get some of that training going," he said, walking next to his son.
Alue followed, looking around for someone to hang out with.

Cade grumbled and rolled his eyes, making a face so only his sister could see. "You know dad, why don't you let Alue train today? Or at least let her join in" It was not fair that he didn't see Alue's interest in being an alpha.
Aryan finally came to rest in a clearing. She sighed, eventually sprawling out beneath the sun for a nap

"Alue? The oldest pup always becomes alpha and that is you, Cade. Now let's go," Night said, strictly.
Alue followed her father anyways, stopping next to Cade. "Thanks for trying, but he's as stubborn as I am," she said, giving her brother's shoulder a thankful lick. "I'll just watch," she added, since she had nothing else to do.

Cade growled at his father discretely as he walked ahead of him. He then nodded at his sister and sighed, eventually, he told himself. As he padded on for this unnecessary training he thought about how he actually wished to live, not take over the Sammurai as his father wished. His auburn pools looked around at the scene that he had grown up with, he had watched as it changed from season to season. He then whispered to Alue. "I'll tell him someday soon, I promise"

"I can wait, Cade. It's not like one of us is going to take over tomorrow, you know," Alue whispered back.
Night stopped in another clearing. He turned and looked at Cade. "What were we training about yesterday? It seems I have forgotten," he said, giving a small smile.

Cade sighed, knowing this was just another one of his tests. "We worked on speed yesterday, hunting" He then turned to Alue. Although he had been the one in training Alue watched, but in later on they would go off and he would show her the details she had missed. So in a way he was teaching her what he had been taught. His auburn eyes watched, auds listened for any que from Night, he rested upon his haunches for the lecture.

Night nodded. "Okay, good. Well, today we'll work on fighting. It's a vital thing in a pack and not just a pack, but in life. An alpha needs to be strong and a great fighter, not only to keep his position from another wolf, but so they can protect the pack. Remember, with out a pack you can't be an alpha," he said, looking straight at his son. "Now show me what you've got, attack me, but please try not to do so much damage that I can't help the pack," he said, getting in a defensive stance.
Alue watched, giving an encouraging mile everytime Cade looked at her. Her pale blue eyes held excitment in them, waiting for the time where she could train with her brother.

Cade nodded, now this was something he was interested in. He returned to his padded feet and got low, ready to bolt ahead. He did so but not in a manner with which he couldn't control himself. He came within inches and skidded sideways, head low aiming for a foreleg. This all happened quickly, he was fast, but his father was experienced.

Night's forleg was tooken out from under him, but he quickly turned on his other three and bit lightly at Cade's tail. He had learned a few moves from practicing with other wolves from the different packs. That one he had learned from Slade.

Cade ignored his bitten tail, but when he had skidded too far the pain increased and he regained his balance. He the jumped over his father with quick reflexes, his tail still in that mouth, somehow in mid-air he grabbed at his fathers scruff, he wasn't sure if he had gotten close enough so he braced himself to land upon his paws.

Night smiled, letting go of Cade's tail and forcing all his weight towards his son to knock him over. "Not bad, not bad at all," he said, chuckling.
Alue watched, eyes wide to take in every detail of the practice fight.

Cade tipped his diadem following the 'well done' he had gotten. He then shifted his gaze to his sister giving her the look that they will work on it later. When his auburn optix returned to his father he flashed a small smile then sat upon his haunches. "What'd you think?" He then thought for a moment. "Anything else today?"

"Well, you did good for a beginner. Work on your tatics more and don't rush. Also, you want to knock the other over, not just bite at them," Night said. He thought for a moment. "Oh and use your claws too, they help out alot when your fangs are biting down on your opponent," he added. "But other than that, you're good," he said, smiling. He turned and went back towards the dens.
When Alue was sure her father was gone, she ran over to her brother. "My turn," she said, her tail wagging from excitment. She wanted and needed to learn how to fight. She usually used speed instead of fighting, so she didn't know much.

Cade chuckled at his sister then thought once again about how his father was so wrong about both of them, and it wouldn't be too long before he would find out. Returning to his sister he walked a distance then stood as his father did. "Ok, now come to me with the best you've got"
