Alue smiled and turned around. She began kicking both dirt and small rocks at Cade. Dust was flying everywhere, blinding her and most likely her brother also. She kept her ears open, not daring to sniff him out in the chance of sneezing and telling him where she was. Once there was plenty of dust, she listened. She moved a bit away from where she was before, knowing that if she stayed there she would surely be caught.

Cade smiled at her tactic. He called this invisible, knowing that she could come from any direction and he wouldn't even see her. He made not a sound, he remained facing the direction he had been facing to begin with. He then thought through memories of what was on his left, right, and behind him. To the left he saw the thorn bush and he instantly thought of the right, a could tress. To behind him the continued clearing and pond, with that he began to back up until he could see that behind him was a tad clearer, he paused waiting, listening.

Alue quietly exited the clearing, going around a few bushes. She weaved through the forest with her lean body, until she could see her brother. She smiled slightly to herself. There was a few bushes inbetween the two. One of them had thorns on it and the others had burrs around them. She lowered herself until she couldn't be seen. The dust would clear soon.

As he sat, Cade remained motionless listening to the air and feeling any change in the pressure that surrounded him and he snapped his head toward the thorn bush, he still could not see well and he then began shifting deeper into the dust cloud before it faded.

Alue's ears laid back as soon as the dust faded and she saw him look in her direction. She didn't move, though. She was standing up wind, so he couldn't smell her and the dust had covered most of her fur so she could blend in better. Her heart was beating faster. How did he know she was there?

Finally the dust cleared a he stood within the trees and the light bushary that stood among the trees. His auburn hues rested upon the clearing, waiting silently. This is what it felt to be the hunter. What did it feel to be the hunted?

Alue was getting bored. She finally snapped and decided to do something fun. She leaped over the bushes and ran towards Cade. She reached for his scruff with her teeth.

Cade growled playfully at her approach and shifted as she leapt, hoping she would miss him, but somehow she grabbed hold of his scruff and they both sailed into the bushes behind them. Cade began to laugh and he returned to his pads looking at Alue.

Alue was on her back. She rolled back over and got up, a bit dizzy from the crash. "Ow," she said, looking at her paw. It was bleeding a bit. She grabbed something and pulled a bur that had stuck into one of he pads. She dropped the bur back onto the ground. "How was that?" she asked, shaking her pelt. She sat down and looked at her brother.

Cade whimpered slightly at his sisters bleeding paw, and so he licked it clean then returned to his haunches. "Not too bad" he smiled then raised his nose to the air, testing it. He had not heard one sound since his father had left, and silence in their home meant something was up, but he came to the conclusion that he was wrong when the songs of nature returned to his auds. He thought momentarily about how he hadn't seen mom since the den, he felt bad." Want to go try to find mom?" His auburn optix shifted their gaze inquisitively.

Alue nodded. She got up and nuzzled her brother. "I'll race you back to the dens. We can search there first," she said, before taking off back towards their home. She didn't even give him a chance. She was the fastest out of the two and Cade was the strongest. Her lean figure easily weaving inbetween the trees and under some fallen branches. She looked back to see her brother and then turned back to face forward. BANG! She ran straight into a tree. She fell back. She sat up shortly after and blinked. She could taste blood and looked on the ground to see one of her fangs.

Cade was not far from her when he he saw her hit the tree. His heart instantly kicked up in beats and he dead sprinted to her. He did not know if she was okay and he could already smell the blood before arriving at her side. Auburn optix searched all over her, making sure that nothing was broken, but he was quick to follow the blood to her mouth and then followed her gaze to where her tooth lay on the ground. He sighed, relieved that it had been nothing serious, for if it had been it would've been his responsibility. He nuzzled Alue reassuringly and thought about what to do. "Are you ak Alue?"

Alue nodded. "My fang is gone. That's not fair," she said, her ears laying back on her head. she looked at her brother. "Dad wont like this. He'll be giving us a lecture about how we shouldn't be acting like pups," she said, mocking Night.
"You're right," A voice said. A figure came out of the bushes and he was looking at both of the young wolves. It was Night. He eyes were hard and strict. "What were you two doing?" he asked, walking closer to his pups. "Now your bite isn't as effective as it should be. You'll never get that fang back," he said.

Cade then shifted and stood in front of Alue defensively, a slight growl came out, h was feeling quite rebellious today. "Sorry father, it was my fault, so don't blame her. I am willing to take any punishment for her." He looked to Alue. "And you may think her bite is jeopardized, but she will adapt, I'm sure of it." he finished throwing her a quick smile. Cade knew his father would probably take this a disrespect but he was the one who wanted him to take his place as alpha, so he would definitely act like one towards him.

Alue smiled back, but stood up. She lightly pushed Cade out of the way. "I don't want to be protected anymore, Cade. I may be your sister, but I can take my own punishment," she said, lightly, looking straight at her brother. She then turned to look at Night. Her gaze seemed just as hard as her father's. She had never looked at anyone like that before.
Night looked at Cade. "You may be alpha one day, but you aren't now. Do not disrespect me," he said. He then looked at Alue. "Now tell me, what were you two doing?" he asked.
"Training and looking for mom," Alue replied. It was obvious she had had enough with her father. There was tension in the air, making it very heavy.
