Blood Rising

And Hope To Die-x
I am a pool of blood red rubies
I was a single stone
A poison dart tore right through me
And ripped apart my bones
My aim is perfection
Cutting through your mind
A tiny blood red ruby
Is the gift I leave behind.

Name: Blood Rising
Age: Seven
Gender: Male
Species: Horse
Breed: Andalusian
Colors: Standing at 16.3 hands tall, Blood Rising is a full-blooded Andalusian. His frame is the definition of the breed, strongly built and compact. With a long, broad neck and thick mane and tail. The fine furs gracing his hide are black, but in some lights appear almost purple-ish -- it all depends on the lighting. HIs mane and tail are long and thick, with a long forelock shadowing his eyes. The roots of these tassels are the same color as his pelt, only they are streams with an orangy-red color; becoming all the bolder at the tips. His eyes are the opposite of colors. His left eye is the darkest black, the pupil blending into the iris. The left is the brightest blue, clashing against the black dot of his pupil. This one is always hidden beneath his forelock. His legs are long and strong, his muscles rippling beneath his tight skin.
Personality: Blood Rising is quite a hard equine to understand -- due to a multiple amount of things. For one, he no doubt has a problem with moodswings. His mood changes on a dime and he is hard to predict -- one second he can be calm and collected and another he's striking out with nothing but blood on his mind. When they happen others find themselves either very confused or trying to get as far away from him as possible. But, this isn't the only thing that makes him quite unlikeable. Unlike more horses, Blood Rising is schizophrenic -- though this didn't start all that long ago. Currently, his symptoms include: Social withdrawal, hostility, suspiciousness, flat, expressionless gazze, inability to cry, inability to express joy, inappropriate laughter, inappropriate crying, depression, insomnia, odd and irrational statements, forgetful; unable to concentrate, extreme reaction to criticism, and strange use of words and ways of speaking. He also has something known as Clang -- meaning that he breaks out in random rhyme. The only thing is, these rhyme's have no meaning and are very confusing. And, once or twice, he's been known to have imaginary conversations with a being known as Argos. No one but Blood Rising knows who this is. It's gotten to the point where Blood Rising is seen either as blood-crazy or childish -- depending on when you actually try to converse with him.
History: Blood Rising's birth was quite normal, with exception of a twin -- Rhex. The herd they grew up in wasn't the nicest, a place where only the fittest could survive. Coming out of the womb first, Blood Rising was meant to take over the throne when his father passed away. He was strong and fit, able to hold his own when fighting with other horses, his posture always claiming the dominance he deserved and fought for everyday. He was treated with respect, his word taken over any other equines in most cases -- and so he could get away with murder...and so he did. When he was just over a yearling he drowned a filly after a very childish game of tag. Though the stories of the other foals matched, they were simply ignored. During his growth and under his fathers rule, the herd grew nice and fit, with new foals every spring and a sturdy heirarchy. It wasn't until he turned two that Blood Rising's mental illness came around. It wasn't an over night thing, and when he was already so aggressive and violent, wasn't taken note of until three months after it had started. He began to act out of the ordinary, with too many symptoms to list in one biographiy. Some of them included holding awkward poses for long amounts of time, talking to himself, making rhymes that made no sense; even becoming paranoid. Soon it became apparent that he was not fit to rule and, when Rhex turned to Alpha, he was instantly shoved to the end of the food chain. He was made fun of and picked on constantly and this only made his mental condition worse. That's when his first episode with Argos occured. During such a conversation, he wandered away from the herd. On his journey's, he met a mare and had triplet's by her -- but he doesn't know this quite yet.
