Crazy[truths]

Trojan looked in her direction as the fawn stood before her. He laughed then returned to his grazing. he kept a watchful eye on the deer herd and made sure that Glory was in his sight as well. He snorted, blowing through his nares and raised his crown once more. What was she doing?

The little colt nipped her nose testily. Glory pulled back and snorted, a little annoyed. She flicked her tail and walked off. The fawn's tail beat back and forth for no apparent reason, and he followed along behind; stepping where she did. Looking over her shoulder, she began trotting, and sure enough it followed. Glory wandered off towards Trojan, deciding to ignore the little thing -- it would hopefully go back to his herd given time. "Um..." Glory muttered, unsure of what she should do about such a situation.

Trojan paused and turn to face the little child, laying back his ears and letting out a bellow,the child scampered away a few feet and hid. "That should work" He turned to Glory and shrugged then began to walk off. He was not in the mood for this on such a beautiful day, and so, he returned to grazing.

Glory frowned slightly at the little ones fright. "That should work." Mourning Glory stomped her hoof, "That wasn't necessary, Trojan." she said, looking to where the little one once stood. The deer scampered back off to his herd and she snorted softly.

Trojan flinched at her words and sighed.
Then while she remained occupied on the
fawn he began to leave, feeling frustrated.
He flicked his whipcord and trotted until
he was near the edge of the meadow and
stood in the shadows.

Glory watched him go, just a tad bit too proud to tag along behind. Fine then. While normally quite agreeable, she could get just as arguable. She looked around for her little friend, only to find the deer gone -- all of them. A confused expression came upon her, wondering why they had gone. Already a little bit irritated, she walked. She didn't know where she was going, but such a relaxing activity calmed her.

Trojan sighed as he began to nibble at the leaves. He was frustrated now, a pained expression upon his face. He looked towards Glory then turned back to the tree which just did not seem to want to give up its leaves. He snorted frustratedly and left the meadow to walk within the body of trees.

Before long she had left the meadow and was traveling on quite rocky terrain. Some time had passed before she felt calm enough to go back to Trojan's company. Sighing she turned to trot back to the field. Rounding a corner, her hoof struck something and before she knew it something had bit into her leg. Something hot ran through her veins, and she could feel her muscles tighten, her heart beat pounding in her ears. Dropping to her knees, in her peripheral vision she could see a snake; dead, but definitely the cause of her pain. What worse? She was here by herself, and she doubted anyone would find her. If the venom didn't kill her, than any other predator easily could.

Trojan had been following her path this whole time, but when he felt a difference in the air he snorted and looked around. It was quiet. He then bolted ahead "Glory!?" He bellowed louder. "Glory!?" Finally he came upon her, wounded, bitten. He whimpered a sad tone and buckled his legs beneath him, laying beside her. He rested his head around her neck as if he were holding her.

Everything around was fuzzy, like she was being cut off from the world. Smells were muddled, her sight was blurry, and she could just barely hear at all -- but she could feel. Laying on her her stomach, her attempt to stay conscious left her rocking back and forth. "Glory!?" "...T-Trojan?" she muttered, looking at the fuzzy black outline. Yes, it was him. "It's s-so cold..." Glory stuttered, a sudden chill coming over as the fire burned away. Mourning Glory let herself be held, finding herself leaning against his strong form.

Trojan began to tear up as the sun began to bathe upon them. When he her announce that she was cold his heart sank and and he began to rock her. "Sh-shh..you're gonna be ok, I promise, everything is going to be ok." He then began crying as he ran his kissers along her nape where is cranium rested. Tears began to seep into her mane and also upon the ground beneath them. His eyes wandered over to the snake and his tears became fierce and hateful. He then continued to soothe Glory as he whispered to the heaven's. "Don't take her away, please don't take her away."

"Sh-shh..you're gonna be ok, I promise, everything is going to be ok." but Glory was finding it hard to listen. She did notice, however, the little droplets that fell from Trojan' eyes. "Please don't cry..." she couldn't bare knowing he was in pain, especially at her expense. The mare's eyes' drooped and no matter how hard she tried to stay conscious she ended up slipping into a scary slumber. Not dead, just sleeping. Whether she woke up again, however, was another factor.

At first, when Trojan felt her go limp he panicked, jumping to his feet, but he soon saw her barrel rise and fall. He then felt his legs go from under neath him as he fell to the ground in prayer. Nape arched as his chin caressed his breast plate, earthen pools closed in depth. His heart pounded within. He then cried out. "Don't! it was my fault, take me! I left her[/b]! Take me!" He began crying once more and sliding back to his earlier position. His body meeting hers in unison. He brought his kisser to her aud. "Don't leave me"

Mourning Glory found herself deep in her dreams. It was pitch black, and she was standing in an ocean of some black, thick fluid. To her left was a bright light, and to her right a duller; more gray one. The tide was pushing her towards the brighter of the two, and it was hard to go against it -- like pushing through glue. So, naturally, she followed along. "Don't leave me." but wait, she knew that voice. It was so familiar, and it called to her from the dim light. It echoed in her head until she finally recognized it -- it was Trojan. She had to go back. With all she had she fought the current, jumping and thrashing against it. More than once she almost gave up, but she made it. The dim light flooded her vision before her eyes fluttered open to the real world. Her body felt weak and she was unbearably tired, but she was awake. "I'm not leaving you, and I don't plan to any time soon." she forced out, her tired mind fighting to put a rational sentence together.

Trojan rocked her as the minutes passed by. Finally he felt life return and she spoke. "G-Glory?" A smile came to his wet features and she he gripped her slightly tighter, but gently. He then nuzzled her. "It wouldn't have been fair for you to die without me being able to ask you to spend the rest of your life with me."
