Glory leaned against him, comforted by the warmth of his skin and the rhythm of his breathing. "It wouldn't have been fair for you to die without me being able to ask you to spend the rest of your life with me." it's a good thing he didn't ask that of me yesterday, as it might have been very short-lived.

[/u] she thought, but, of course, did not say a single thing about it. "I don't think I'd be able to have it any other way, Trojan." she said, a smile coming to her face. Happiness surged through her tired limbs at the thought of waking up every morning to Trojan's handsome face.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/size][/color]

He smiled and nuzzled her "Just, please promise me you'll stay out of trouble like this, or I might be the one dying of a heart attack" He chuckled and rested her head on her side."Rest love, I'll be here when you wake up, I won't move an inch"

"Just, please promise me you'll stay out of trouble like this, or I might be the one dying of a heart attack." Glory smiled, nuzzling his neck lovingly. "Rest love, I'll be here when you wake up, I won't move an inch." "I love you..." she whispered, lowering her head to the ground and closing her eyes. Within seconds she had fallen into an easy, dreamless sleep.

Trojan smiled, and then he too closed his eyes. But he was not in a full sleep. He would be alert and he would be ready for anything. It would be stupid to come across them with a threat.

Glory's sleep was deep, and she didn't come out of it once that entire night. Her body was weak and was using that time to fight off the remnants of the poison. Glory's eyes were still closed well into morning -- much longer than she normally would have slept. She eventually opened her eyes around 11:00.

Trojan was attacked with nightmares of what could've happened. He continued on with this restless sleep throughout the night, and when the sun announced morning, he sighed and looked to his mate and smiled tiredly. He would let her sleep though, she needed it.

Upon opening her eyes, Glory felt relatively weak, but stronger than she had the evening before. It was odd, though, the leg that had been bitten felt tired -- even though she was yet to stand. Raising her head, she nuzzled Trojan, resting her head against his for a moment. Lifting it, she looked around. They were surrounded by large rocks, and the ground was little more than dirt and shrubbery.

He returned the nuzzle, earthen pools leaking of his passion for her. Her beauty amazed him and he knew know one could ever love her as he did, and she hoped she understood that. He smiled then helped her up. "You feel ok or do you need more rest?"

Glory got to her feet well enough, but her leg was of particular worry. "I am unsure, Trojan, my leg feels very weak." She put weight on it, but found she could not rest her other hoof without it faltering.

Trojan sighed and nodded, his man sliding along his nape."I see, would it help to lean upon me, because I do not feel it safe enough to stay here. Where there is one of those demons there are bound to be more, and we will parish under the hot summer sun." He was worried for her, he loved her very much.

"Neither do I, but I can move on my own." she stated. She moved forward, limping quickly over her weaker leg. "I cannot run, but I can walk, at least." she said optimistically, with a smile.

Trojan looked to Glory unsurely and unconvinced by her optimistic tone. "Love, lean against me while you walk." He waited her answer before they would be off, he would probably not ask much distance of her, but if they could make if to the trees and the woods they should be fine. His strong pistons stood restlessly, dark whipcord flick his hide and he snorted at the heat.

Glory sighed in defeat, "Fine." she sighed. Her own tail flicked as a fly landed on her skin, her hide twitching. It was so hot today -- she was surprised she wasn't already sweating -- walking on three legs didn't sound like the most comforting of strolls, either.

OOC: it doesn't matter to me...maybe they can go into another herd land for the time being? Until Glory gets well? Lord knows the plots we could come up with there xD But it really doesn't matter =D
