Don't tell them I've gone crazy That I'm still strung out over you
Dark mahogany canvas thundered across the ever changing scene. The hot summer sun beat across his dark pelt and beads of sweat began to form. His dark chocolate optix seemed forever searching, not only did his eyes wander, but so did his heart as it raced ahead upon hills and tree tops.
Thick pistons thrusted him onward, never weakening or threatening to give out. Black banners swam behind him as the wind of the heavens blew between his auds, nostrils flared.
Finally he came to a slow, eventually ending up before the crystal waters of a lake. His barrel rose and fell as he caught his breath, hardly faced. As he basked in the shade he slowly began to doze off before heading out.
Don't Tell them all the truth Don't tell them all the truth

Hooves of pure ebonite danced, placed one infront of the other as she paced softly through the underbrush. Chest rose and fell easily, the wind sending stories of another life deep into her own body -- it made her smile. She was a peaceful creature, and she took care to not trample the bright flowers that littered the ground beneath the canopy's lovely lace. A sound of thundering hooves made her ears flicker and head perk as they got closer. The wind of in her favor, and she could easily make out the scent of a stallion -- but it didn't really matter. Pulling up in a half rear, she galloped after him; matching his stride in a few moments. She followed along a few yards away, slightly shielded by the trees so as not to offend. He was much bigger than she, but she was no doubt faster -- one of his breed was not meant to run like she was. She shot him a challenging - though friendly - look as she threw her head up -- racing was one of her favorite past times. She didn't know where he was running to, but the sound of two sets of hoof-beats were much more pleasurable to the ears than that of one. Strong legs curled beneath her as she lifted herself over a set of bushes and they broke out into a more open area with little trees -- the sound of her own hooves silencing for a moment before they thudded back to the ground. The feel of the wind across her back was wonderful. She probably wouldn't stick around when she tired, but she wasn't really thinking about it. She wasn't afriad of him, even if she didn't know his alliance. Mourning Glory had a way of turning the world around her into a setting of peaceful serenity -- something about the way she looked at others let them know that they could talk if they wanted to, but they didn't have to.

Trojan looked upon the fae as she challenged him. He snorted and through his head up in a mock battle stance and bellowed with much power. Thick pistons struck the earth as he danced in place. Deep earthen pools watched her humorously. He then parted his kissers to allow his voice of depth to escape."So what exactly are you trying to convince me in doing?"
He arched his nape, auds pointing upon this maiden. Black banners softly shifted in the wind as the gods continued to breath upon them.

Mourning Glory slowed as he did, half rearing and striking out at an imaginary foe. The mare was a lover and not a fire, true, but she had a spirit -- one that came out during moments such as these. When she ran, when she jumped, when she was surrounded by those she adored. Petite frame looked even more dainty as she slowly walked closer, leaving a comfortable distance between them. Eyes met his, a smile prancing in their depths. The sound of the lake was soothing, and she could faintly hear a little sparrow chirping in the distance. So what exactly are you trying to convince me in doing? that made her chuckle light-heartedly. "Run with me, or race me even." she responded in a soft voice, though unafraid of the much larger stallion.

Trojan could see the fearlessness in her eyes. She seemed so spirited and strong. Trojan couldn't help but to let the smile paint itself upon his maw. His dark mahogany hide seemed to push others away, they mistook his dark hide for a dark heart as well. But this did not tell of Trojan at all.
He was strong and determined. He was a fighter for good, though he had sinned at least once in his life. As his gaze rested upon the beauty in front of him. "Why would a beauty like you care to speak to a beast such as myself?" He asked.
"And to race with thee would be a joy, though my strength is not mean to pull weight quickly, unlike your light frame which proves quick."

"Why would a beauty like you care to speak to a beast such as myself?" Well, she was flattered, to say the least; but little of such emotion showed on her dished features. "You are hardly a beast, my friend. You may hide in the physical shadows of the world, but you are hardly a beast." she assured, her tone quite matter-of-fact. "And to race with thee would be a joy, though my strength is not mean to pull weight quickly, unlike your light frame which proves quick." She laughed softly, "There's much more to a race than speed, my friend." Already she was calling him friend, but whether it was from her lack of knowledge as to his name or an instinct was unknown to even her own self. But, she did mean it -- everyone was a friend until proven otherwise. Ear twitched as a pale yellow butterfly landed on her whither. While not particularly a nuisance, she could feel it and it made her laugh as the legs tickled her skin. Looking over her shoulder, she watched as it fluttered away back into the sky.

"Such a rarity that a flutterer lands upon a soul." He spoke with his rich masculine voice. He smiled at her with soft features. His massive musculature shifted upon his thick pillars.
"If there is so much more to it, then I suppose I wouldn't mind to learn something" She flicked his banner, tassels bounced as he moved into a trot, finally a full stride of power and speed.

"Such a rarity that a flutterer lands upon a soul." "Yes, yes it is." she muttered as she watched it fly away, eyes almost dazed. A suddenly strong wind broke her out of it and she smiled as her gaze lowered back to his. "If there is so much more to it, then I suppose I wouldn't mind to learn something." A feeling of joy came about her as she went from a trot to a canter to a gallop. It wasn't completely full-out, as she didn't have any place to go or be and she wanted to run with him; not against him. He seemed quiet for a stallion (anyone, really), but Mourning Glory was starting to like it that way.

He threw up his head in a large below and slowly arched his nape, kissers lightly touching his broad barrel. His powerful legs kept him forward and he matched her stride. He was not sure what to say around this fae, he never knew what to say around any. He was different in a way, but he was sure he would open up later. Sharp daggars repeatedly struck the hearth, leaving a trail of turf pieces scattered. His auds curved and remained ahead to the endlessness of the sky.
Finally he came to a slow. His gaze rested upon her before starting up again. Muscles rippled with strength as he gained speed once again.
When he caught site of the lake he halted, daggars digging to stop his mack truck of a bodice. Earthen optix resting once again upon her. "I know I have not stated my calling, but I believe you have stayed around long enough to hear of it. I am Trojan, and you are?" He asked richly but respectfully.

Hooves pounded against the ground, the two matching in sound and rhythm. The already forceful wind pushed even harder against her. In the world of physics it would have meant that it was making running harder, but she didn't even seem to notice. Her mane flew over either side of her neck, tail streaming out behind her as she ran. It was like any problem she ever faced, everything wrong in the world was behind her -- like it could never catch up. And for now, her heart was flying. She didn't even notice when he started to fall behind the first time, but slowed enough within a second so that he caught up quickly enough. The world was made in balances: she was faster, but he was stronger. As they neared the lake and he stopped, she did too; pulling up and prancing in place as they stopped. By now, her breathing was heavy and she had begun to sweat. It wasn't the dignified of things, but nothing could be done and so she did not care. "I know I have not stated my calling, but I believe you have stayed around long enough to hear of it. I am Trojan, and you are?" Taking in a few deep breaths, she spoke calmly enough. "I am Morning Glory, though any variation of the name will suffice."

Trojan nodded as she spoke of her dubbing. Finally he submerged his kissers into the crisp water as it slid down his burning throat. When he raised his crown water dripped from his maw and landed upon the soft ground.
"So, like many I am sure you have come here in search of something?" He asked questioningly in case he was incorrect.

Mourning Glory looked around her, ears perked as she let her eyes take in everything around her. Birds flew from tree-to-tree, rodents hopped around in bushes; it was a season of life and music. "So, like many I am sure you have come here in search of something?" she refocused her gaze back on him as he spoke. With down casted eyes she contemplated the question. "We are all in search of something, because without a goal not met we have nothing to strive for. So yes, I am in search." she thought some more before continuing on, she did not mean to bore him with such talk, but he had asked so she could only assume he wanted an answer. "I left my home to find the answers to my questions, but the reason that once drove me has faded. Now I'm in search of a home, just a place to rest my head." she ended with a soft smile.

Trojan blew through his nares when she had finished. Her vocals put him in a trance, so smooth, so peaceful. His eyes were no longer blinded to the world around him. He smiled as things were growing this very moment. Life surrounded him, and he was part of it. He returned his gaze to Glory, a passionate fire burning within his own earthen pools.
"What good is a goal, if you just give up?" He asked respectfully in question of what she once strived for but is no more, He was silent so she could think on it.

Mourning Glory could feel her ears instinctively turn back as she became unsure of herself, but it wasn't purposely directed toward Trojan. "What good is a goal, if you just give up?" Glory shifted, thinking about the question. "Without my goal I would not be here, and therefore our lives would be different. Besides, the one horse that holds my answers could very well be dead." Glory felt strangely at ease talking to Trojan about such ordeals, and was almost surprised. While an easy person to get along with, she normally avoided conversations about herself. "What about you, Trojan? What do you search for in this world?" she asked.
