Sagina waited for a moment before following along behind him, determined to forget about the incident completely. The absence of her two alpha's was the first thing she noticed, and she stood there confused for a moment before shrugging it off. Laying down, she rolled over in the grass, wiggling back and forth as she felt the cool ground.

Lydia stumbled, but refused to fall and expose her belly. She bared her teeth and snarled defensively, crouching low as her fur stood on end -- eyes glistening dangerously. Lunching forward, she went to nip him on his upper shoulder.

[Night]

Roshi bit it his sister's muzzle. He had an evil smile on his face. He felt a liquid running down one of his legs and it smelt horrible, but it didn't seem to stop him.

Gin froze in fear as he watched his siblings. He then tried to get in the middle of the two to stop them. Suddenly he felt something sharp go into his throat. He gasped as he felt it go deeper and deeper and he was beginning to be shooken around. Soon, it was getting hard to breath. After a few more seconds he felt it let go of him and he fell to the ground, weak.

When Ryo heard fighting, she turned and gasped. "Stop it! Pups, stop it now," she said, running over to them. She quickly, but lightly, pushed Roshi and Lydia away from each other. She then looked down at Gin. He was breathing, but barely. Her heart practically skipped a beat. She nudged him and began licking the wound on his neck.

Kiba looked at them. He saw blood on Roshi's muzzle and then looked at Gin, who was being treated by his mother. He saw Roshi running towards Gin, obviously back to normal. He quickly leaped and grabbed the pup's scruff, holding him back.

[~*Dream*~]

Lydia snarled, grabbing Roshi's leg and twisting her head before letting go. She instantly went to her brother's defense, pouncing on Roshi's back and snapping at his scruff. Lydia glared at Roshi for a moment, but as the adrenaline in her veins faded, she scampered over to Gin's aid. "Gin?" she asked questioningly, using her paw to nudge him. Lydia jumped around her mother and to her other side, lowering to the ground defensively and snarling at Roshi with her fur bristling -- ready to start the fight all over again if she had to. This was his fault. A trickle of blood ran down the middle of her face and down over her eye, where Roshi had missed her muzzle and nipped her forehead instead. Roshi may have been a fighter, but Lydia could be as well. She turned and scampered back to her brother, just as Sagina grabbed her by her scruff and dragged her off to the dens -- Lydia kicking and screaming the whole way.

[Night]

Roshi whimpered, looking at his brother.

Kiba lifted Roshi and walked into the woods. He set the pup down in a clearing. "Roshi, what's wrong with you?" he asked, sharply.

"I don't know what happened. I really don't," Roshi whined, taking a step back from Kiba. He felt himself be knocked over and looked up at the older wolf. "I didn't mean to do that to Gin," he whispered.

"You did, I was watching you with my own eyes. You didn't want to let go. If you want to fight than fight me. Be a real wolf and fight me," Kiba said, furiously.

Roshi shrunk back, his ears pinned to his head. He bared his teeth, but his eyes held fear in them.

((It'd be interesting if a wolf walked into the clearing with these two in it.))

Ryo stopped cleaning Gin's wounds. She stared down at the limp body before her. She stared right into the lifeless eyes of her son and tears streamed down her face.

Sagina carefully but firmly carried Lydia deeply into the dens, where she held on a moment longer to make sure she was done trying to run away. Letting go, she pulled the little pup to her chest, holding her close.

Lydia twisted and squirmed in Sagina's grasp, before finally stopping. It took some time, but in the comfort of the older she-wolf, the small pup eventually lost all self-control and began to cry. She shook uncontrollably as she thought back to those few moments. It had been nothing but play, she hadn't meant for it to spiral out of control as it had -- and now Gin was paying the price. "He'll be okay. Right?" she asked, looking up. Sagina didn't answer.

What she was doing there, she wasn't really certain -- all that mattered was that she was here. Someone elses territory no doubt -- she could smell the territory markers all about her. Stopping in her tracks at the sound of shouting, Riatha decided to interrupt. Trotting over and through the underbrush, she only let her chest, neck and face be seen. "Hey, keep it down, you're disturbing the peace." she said somewhat sarcastically.

[Night]

Kiba heard a new voice, one he's never heard before. He turned and looked at her. "Stay out of this," he growled.

Roshi got a chance when Kiba turned. He bounded under the big brute and ran right in between the she-wolf's legs. "Help me, Miss," he said, his voice shaking.

Ryo let out a long mournful howl. She knew that Sagina and Lydia could deffinantly hear it.

Riatha bared her teeth, before looking in between her legs as the little pup scurried to be there. She raised an eyebrow. Picking up a foot, she used it to push the little one to her side before sitting down. "Sorry, but I don't help strangers." she said, a hint of cruelness in her voice. In the equine world, she was no Light -- so to speak. "I will, however, do as. I. please." she said, looking back towards the wolf. Her ear tilted at the howl, but decided to ignore it.

Sagina fought to hold back tears, trying to stay strong for little Lydia. Tilting her head back and pinning her ears, she followed along with Ryo. Her part of the song was quieter, but full of grief for the pups short life. She made her voice stronger, not louder, but strong enough to let Ryo know that things would be okay in time -- to send support when she was otherwise occupied. Where are you Hougen? Your mate needs you...

Lydia continued to cry, but held in her sobs long enough to yip alongside Sagina and her mother a few times. She quickly quietened, burying her head in the older she-wolf's fur.

[Night]

Kiba quickly grabbed Roshi and tossed him across the clearing. "Stay over there," He snapped. "Don't move again," he added and looked back to her. "Leave, you aren't part of this pack," he snarled, ignoring the howls.

Roshi landed on his side and listened to the howls. He had tears streaming down his face. "I want my father! Now that I know how you're going to treat us, he'll send you back to Slade with your tail coming out of your mouth," he said, standing up. He quickly ran back towards the dens, hoping that Kiba wouldn't follow.

Hougen bounded into the camp. He slowed down to a stop. "What happened, Ryo?" he asked. He then saw the limp body and gasped. He ran over to his pup. He nudged it, but when it didn't move, he pressed his pelt to Ryo's, hoping to comfort them both. He let out his sad song. It was deep.

A plan was slowly forming in the young fae's mind, but she kept her composure. A smirk came to her face, "Why? What are you going to do about it?" she tested, hopefully pushing him just a little bit too far. She strided forward and brushed right past him, daring him to attack as she followed in the footsteps of the young pup.

Lydia stopped sobbing long enough to hear her father's howl. She left Sagina's safety and took off out of the dens -- down the slope to where her parents stood. "Father! I'm sorry, there wasn't...i tried..." she stuttered, her mind working full-time. Finally giving up, she laid down and covered her eyes -- a technique Sagina had taught her only a little while a go; a way to block out what scared her.

Sagina let the little one go, walking to the entrance of the den and looking out over the scene before her. She let out a loud, shrill bark for Kiba, wanting his company -- the tone going up as she tried not to cry. Her body shook from the effort, but she was doing all she could to be strong.

[Night]

Kiba growled lightly. He turned and followed her. He didn't have it in him to hurt a female that has done nothing wrong. He heard Sagina's bark and bounded forward. "You don't know these wolves, they're dangerous," he said as he shot pass the female. He got back to camp and skidded to a hault. He was right next to Sagina. "Cry, Sagina. Don't try to be strong," he said, pressing his face up against her side.

Genba came into the camp, a wolf's scruff in his jaws. He set the wolf down. It was a she-wolf. She looked alot like Aryan, one of the other pack leaders. "Why is everyone crying?" he asked.

"Can't you see? My son died," Hougen snapped, tears rolling down his face.

Roshi ended up running right into his father's side. He looked up and shrank back, crying. He pressed his face into his father's leg.

Ryo looked at Lydia. She brought the pup closer to her.

[~*Dream*~]

Ha. Dangerous? That meant little to her -- so was she. Trotting with an ease she really shouldn't have had. She eventually popped out of the brush, and without hesitation walked right over to the group of distressed wolves. Stopping a few yards away, she sat down and curled her tail. "What's all the fuss?" she asked. It was obvious a pup had died, but jeez, move. On. It was only a pup, a weak, worthless thing -- it wasn't even that old. How could they have grown so attatched? Ugh, it made her sick.

Some type of relief flooded the she-wolf as Kiba came into view -- she would have run to meet him if he hadn't been going so fast. His words were all it took for her to break down into tears. She collapsed against him, her heart full of grief.

Lydia hugged close to her mother, but turned to look over her shoulder at Roshi. Her eyes were full of hate for the pup, and it bubbled inside of her until she couldn't take it any more. She wiggled away from her mother and barked at Roshi. "This is all your fault!" she screamed as loud as her pup voice would allow. Her fur bristled -- and if looks could kill, hers most certainly would have.

[Night]

Kiba let Sagina lean on him. He looked at the wolf. He snarled. "A pup had died. Does that mean anything to you? Your heartless," he snapped at her.

Genba blinked. Of course he couldn't see. He was blind. He looked at the newcomer, well more like turned into her direction. "Shut up, you idiot. Leave them be and come talk to me if you have anything to say," he stated.

Roshi flinched back. "Please, don't do that," he said. "It was an accident, I didn't mean to," he said.

"Don't start you two. I don't want another one ending up like your brother did," Hougen snapped at the pups.

Roshi scurried back and over to Sagina, knowing she would comfort him, or try to atleast.

Riatha shrugged, "No, not really." she replied nonchalantly. "The weak go, the strong stay -- that's life, get over it." she said, not caring of the consequence. "If you allow the struggling to stay alive, you sacrifice the strength of your pack. And you," she began, looking towards the one that had dubbed her idiot, "wouldn't want a weak pack, now would you? But, then again, you yourself should probably be dead." she continued, walking forward and looking into his eyes. She didn't say any more, but instead stalked off to where a rock jutted over the river. Helping herself, she jumped up and laid down.

Lydia turned and growled at her father, "You're one to talk! If you had been here, none of this would have happened!" she yelled before turning to scamper off into the forest where the trees covered her into simply disappearing. She ran and ran until she came across an uprooted tree. There she dug a hole and hid under it -- curling up. She hadn't purposely come here, but it did, in fact, do its job nicely.

Sagina rushed to gather herself, pulling herself into a standing position. She trotted forward and met Roshi. Sitting down, she hugged him close and wrapped her tail about him. "It's all right, I know you didn't mean to." she whispered, nuzzling his forehead as a few stray tears fell off her muzzle.

[Night]

Genba snarled. "I'm just as strong as anyone in this pack, you young piece of-," he was cut off as he saw the young female next to him stir. He smiled lightly. "Wake up," he said, lightly nudging her with a paw.

Alue groaned lightly and looked around. She saw many wolves, crying and one on top of a rock. "Where am I?" she asked, getting up slowly. Her head was pounding.

"He wasn't weak. He was seperating them and he couldn't dodge the other's attack," Ryo snapped at the female. "Why are you even here if all you're not going to help?" she asked.

Kiba got up and snarled at the female. "Who are you? Who ever said you have a right to tell us this stuff? I'm surprised none of us have killed you yet," he growled.

[~*Dream*~]

Riatha laughed, looking away from them and up into the sky. She lowered her gaze on the group, humor dancing in them like a fire. "Who says I need a reason to be here? You? What difference does that make to me?" she said first, looking towards the female. "My name is Riatha, and I can say as I please. And as if any of you could take me on. I may be lithe in frame and feminine by birth, but brawls are something I never lose." she paused for a moment, "Unlike your little pup there." she said, motioning towards the ground. "And how dare you call me young? Why? Because you were born first? Your age is not determined by your year of birth, but how much you have seen and learned during your time here." she added, looking at the blind male.

Sagina growled, her chest vibrating as it got louder. She stood up and moved to the side of Roshi, fur bristling, tail straight up. "If we're so weak, why are you here? To fix us? Well guess what, we're not broken. So go back to wherever you've come from, and leave us alone." she shouted at Riatha.

Riatha smirked and got to her feet. She sprung easily from the carved stone back to the ground. She walked with surprising grace and ease in such a stressful situation. "Why have I come? As I've said before, who says I need a reason? But hey, who could pass up such fun." she said, trying to push this female's buttons.
