"I never said it was," Kiba snarled. He got up and began walking away. "I don't know what you all are doing, but I'm going back to Slade. He actually took care of me, unlike Hougen," he said.

Roshi licked Aryan's side. "My name is Roshi. What's your name?" he asked.

Alue nodded and once again the tears began to flow. She tried to make them stop, but failed. "We need to get back to our lands before Hougen finds us again," she said, trying to toughen up. She turned and walked over to Genba. "Are you able to walk?" she asked.

Genba looked at Alue. He shook his head. "Hougen did too much damage on me," he said, sighing. "I can't walk," he said, looking a bit more sad. "And if I could, I wouldn't be able to see to cross the river. I'm blind," he added.

Cade listened sadly at the weakened tone of Genba. His features softened and he turned around. "Well what are you going to do...die here?" He was sure that if another died tonight he would totally flip out, and just so he didn't have to hear it, he left, and not in the direction of his pack's home.

Aryan whimpered at the pup. "Aryan, my name is Aryan" She watched without a word as her son sped off. She looked to Alue confused.

Romeo wanted to go to her, as she cried, but he resisted knowing that she needed to work it our herself.

Sagina bared her teeth at Kiba's snarl, before snorting and shaking her pelt. She watched in silence as he walked away, glaring at him every step of the way. Turning towards the injured Genba, she instantly got a more pitying look -- though she quickly erased it, as Genba was probably too proud. The river. Fear tore through the young fae, and she stopped her pacing -- fur standing at the thought of the rushing waters. "I'll stay with him." Sagina said quickly, rushing to Genba's side. "We'll catch up with the rest of you later." she offered, even though she knew she would never cross the river.

Lydia got to her feet and went to her mothers side, looking up at her and talking quietly. "Mom...what's going to happen to Daddy?" she asked, though she was dreading the answer. He may have struck her, but her was still her father.

[Night]

"I don't know, Lydia. I don't know," Ryo said, nuzzling Lydia carefully.

Alue watched Cade leave and then looked at her mother. She shrugged a little than look back at Sagina. She looked into her eyes, to make sure she was telling the truth and saw fear in them. She wouldn't embarass this female infront of everybody with her hydrophobia problem. She would simply come back later for them both. "Okay, but be careful of Hougen," she said.

Genba turned his head towards Sagina. "No, go with them. I'll be fine," he said.

"It's nice to meet you ma'am," Roshi replied, bowing his head a bit. It was obvious his mother taught him manners.

Cade didn't not venture far, but far enough so he could no longer feel another wolf's presence. His rusty pelt painted with ebony as he stalked the shadows on this clear night. He raised his auburn hues to the night sky as it dared to reign so beautiful on such a murderous and blood-filled night. His optix were no longer his, they were cold, sad, angry, and most of all blood lusting for those who had done him wrong. He then though of his father, and how he witnessed the death, he remembered how badly the stinging grew in his heart and chest as he stared into the lifeless eyes of Night. Cade lifted his proud head to the sky, as he sung of his mourning for all the innocent killed.

Aryan chuckled, "Its nice to meet you too Roshi." She then turned to Sagina dominantly. "No one is splitting up tonight." She though for a moment. "We could search for a few large branches that would allow us to drag him, we can then take the back way farther along the river, there is a crossing. You are all welcome to stay with us until you have made your decisions."

Romeo through a quick smile to Alue. When he heard the mournful tune of Cade, he too lifte dhis head to pay his respects to those who have left today.

Sagina did not snap at Genba like she wanted to...did he even remember her fear? I didn't matter, so she quickly let it go. She lifted her tail and bared her teeth slightly in Aryan's direction, "You're not my boss yet." she growled softly, her fur prickling along her neck.

Lydia looked at her mom with a thoughtful look before watching everyone else with a sad one. And there was Roshi, sucking up to Aryan. She was bitter towards him for the death of her brother -- he made her sick.

[Night]

Alue listened to the songs she would mourn when everyone was safe. She nodded in her mother's direction and then looked at Sagina. "We have to get both of you to safety. Hougen did this to Genba and if he finds you two on his land, he'll rip your throats out," she said, going to the nearby tree line and searching forn a wide branch.

Genba laid there. "Calm down Sagina," he said, looking up at the she-wolf.

Roshi looked around and notice his sister looking at him. He flinched at her stare, unsure of what to do. He knew that the old times would never come back, but he wished it could. He had already lost one sibling and he didn't want to lose the other.

Aryan turned and snapped dominantly, but her voice still remained soft and calm. "I may not be your boss yet, nor may I ever be,but do you see anyone else trying to work out a plan, anyone else trying to keep you alive? I believe that your "boss" has just murdered someone, almost killed his own brother, broken one's leg,, and could've possibly done the same to you, but my pack came to save the lives of those unknown, it might not have been on purpose but my mate has died for you. I deserve the respect, and you will listen if you want to stay alive." She was not harsh, only truthful, and respectful.

Cade watched from the higher distance he was, watching his family and the others. What were they planning?

Romeo sighed, listening, waiting.

Sagina's ears pinned, "You don't have to do anything, Alue." she growled softly. Sagina snorted, "No, I will not, Genba!" she exclaimed, though her tone was less assertive towards him. Her fur prickled, "You deserve nothing from me. Did I ask you for anything? Did I ask your mate to die? I respect your mate, but I hold little for you. YOU'RE ways are not the only ones, and I don't HAVE to listen to you to keep my life -- nor will I do so. Dare you come into OUR territory and demand from US?" she shot back angrily. "What about you, Ryo? Genba? Are you going to be leaders, or do I have to go find wolves that will be?" she tested. Such a part of her personality was ever rarely seen, but at the moment, she meant everything she said.

[Night]

Alue's ears were now laying back on her head. Her hackles had risen and her teeth were bared. "You still consider this your territory?! You're 'leader' almost killed the one you love and you're still going back to him instead of staying with Kiba! What kind of leadership is that?! Leadership is when you take charge and do what's right. Hougen may be an alpha, but he does not lead and neither do you," she snapped, defending Aryan.

Genba looked at Sagina. "I am being a leader, Sagina. After all of these years, I finally get a chance and I'm not letting it go. I'm not going back to Hougen," he said.

Ryu nodded in agreement with Genba and Alue. "Aryan has always been my leader, even if Hougen was my mate. I will follow her down any path in this life and will always be by her side," she said.

Kiba was crouching in some bushes. He was listening silently, although he was upwind, so they couldn't smell him. Well, Cade might be able to, but no one else.

Aryan smiled at each of them, but she was still frustrated with how Sagina was snapping at her. "Sagina, I am not trying to take away your freedom, I am just trying to do what's best for all of us at this point" She spoke looking at everyone. "And you may not have asked for us to come, but think about what could have happened if we had not come?" Her crystal blue hues looked on fiercely, but were plagued with the sadness that swallowed her heart, and stood with a lump in her throat. "We would have arrived anyways, because MY daughter was taken from me" She growled slightly. "you can choose to go back to your home, I understand, but I'm going to make sure that everyone else lives, I am going to put up my life to save theirs." With that she grabbed a few branches and looked to Genba. "Do you need any assistance sliding onto here?"

Cade padded behind the brute that laid low in the bushes. "What are you doing?"

Romeo readied himself to aid Aryan.

Sagina stood firm, "Of course I still consider this my territory! Territory is home, and this is my home. I have not once said I will go back to Hougen, nor that I will leave Kiba. her voice softened, if only by a little. "Such decisions are left unfinished, but I know what I will not do. I will not run, and by going with you, that's exactly what I would be doing. she paused, letting the others talk, but not really caring about what they have to say. "I do not need help solving my own problems." and so she turned away and headed for the underbrush that rested a few yards away from the river.

Lydia whimpered at all of the fighting, unsure of where her own loyalty's lay. "Sagina wait!" she shouted, scampering to the older she-wolf's side. "Please don't go." she said, pressing her forehead to the wolf's leg.

Sagina paused, looking at the pup. "Don't worry, Lydia, we'll see eachother again; this I promise." she lowered her head and nuzzled Lydia's cheek. "But for now....listen to your mother, she knows what is best for you. And you must forgive your brother, Lydia. You know he didn't mean to." she nudged her away and stepped forward to disappear in the underbrush. She caught sight of Kiba and Cade, but didn't stop. She didn't want to talk to Kiba right now.

Lydia nodded, watching Sagina go before walking slowly back to her mother. Hadn't she lost enough already? While Sagina and her weren't truly related, Sagina had been there ever since she had been born. More than once the she-wolf had comforted the pup, and Lydia knew she was going to miss that comfort. But she would hold onto that promise, even if something inside of her told her it wasn't true.

[Night]

Kiba looked up at Cade. "Listening," was all he said as he watched Sagina walked away. He wondered why they had been fighting so much lately. She's been getting hurt too much.

Genba shook his head, He managed to drag himself onto the brnach. "I'm sorry we ever came here," he said, looking at Aryan.

Alue sighed and turned. "She's so stubborn," she said. She looked at Genba. "We'll make sure you get better, don't worry," she said, walking over to him. "And don't worry about it, it's too late now," she added.

Ryo looked around. "We have to hurry, he'll be looking for us soon and if he catches us, than he'll deffinantlly kill us," she said.

Aryan began to laugh. "Such a fool, I can tell you are young Sagina. You are not a coward if you choose run, nor is it running if you change your life up a bit. Being strong is not being stubborn. If you actually have the balls to just walk away, you are the one who walks away with your dignity. Many times its choosing between life or death. Being an alpha, I have to choose when to run or when to keep at it depending on how it will effect the pack. Look at them Sagina, this is your family and with your family is where you belong. Would you rather be stubborn and stay here and watch them walk away?" Aryan looked on, wondering if she made any sense at all. She then turned and called up to Cade, he would have to help her pull Genba.

Cade did not reply but looked at Kiba. "What are you doing here in the bushes though? Get out there with your family! Get out there with Sagina, she needs your guidance right now." With that he jumped through the bushes and off to help his mother.

Romeo stepped up beside Aryan, tipping his diadem, letting her know he would help. He then turned to Alue, nuzzling her.

Sagina stopped, "You said that being a leader is doing what is right, and this, is what I believe is right. Just because we don't agree, doesn't mean that either of us are wrong. And so I choose to walk away

In time, we will see who was right and who was wrong, but I am in no rush. Lydia stayed close to Ryo, hearing the words around her but not really listening. She was sad to see Sagina go, but life did go on. The pup watched in silence as the older wolves helped her uncle.
